        On November 26th, 2024, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) issued a new electromagnetic compatibility standard IEC 61000-4-41:2024 "Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)- Part 4-41: Testing and Measurement Technology-Broadband Radiation Immunity Test", which will be formally implemented in 2026.

        The main contents of the standard are as follows:

        1. Scope of application: This standard relates to broadband radiation interference generated by communication equipment or services, transmitters or industrial electromagnetic sources or any other equipment capable of generating such signals.

        2. Test frequency: The standard specifies the test with a frequency higher than 80MHz, which is only limited by the capacity of commercial test instruments.

        3. Test purpose: Through the test, evaluate the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment in broadband radiated electromagnetic field, and ensure that the equipment can work normally in complex electromagnetic environment.
