02 Questions about factory inspection
1. For the "product test mode + factory inspection mode" in the above table, when applying for the first time, the initial factory inspection must be carried out. After passing/obtaining the factory inspection report/certificate, the application documents can be submitted and obtained after the BSMI review. Certificate.
2. After the initial factory inspection is completed and passed, the factory inspection shall be applied for with the type test report.
3. Considering the current epidemic situation, BSMI may switch to "online remote initial factory inspection"
4. When applying for a new model in the future, there is no need to apply for a factory inspection, but only a factory inspection report valid for the current year is required.
5. The factory inspection must be carried out once a year to ensure the validity of all the same type of commodity certificates.
03 Questions about the validity period of the certificate
The validity period of the voluntary product verification certificate for the products in the above table is 3 years. If the product specifications and verification standards have not changed, the voluntary product verification certificate can be extended once.
04 Standard requirements for functional safety of battery systems
The battery system (group) of the products listed above must include a battery management system (BMS). Section 8.1 of the verification standard CNS 62619 requires that the functional safety of battery systems shall meet the following standards and requirements, and shall provide test reports from BSMI accredited laboratories or verification documents from other national certification bodies.
