Introduction to Type Approval Certification (SRRC)
According to the "Regulations on the Administration of Imported Radio Transmission Equipment" and the "Regulations on the Administration of the Production of Radio Transmission Equipment", in order to strengthen the management of the import and production of radio transmission equipment, all radio transmission equipment exported to the People’s Republic of Radio transmission equipment produced (including trial production) must be issued with a "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate" after type approval (SRRC) for its emission characteristics. The type approval code must be indicated on the label of the factory equipment.
Type approval certification product range

Type approval (SRRC) inspection process
1. Application procedure
(1) To apply for approval of radio transmission equipment, the following materials shall be submitted:
1. "Application Form for Model Approval of Radio Transmission Equipment";
2. A copy of the "Business License of Enterprise Legal Person" of the applicant unit, and an introduction to the production capacity, technical strength and quality assurance system of the applicant unit;
3. Equipment model technical specification or technical manual, circuit block diagram or principle diagram and instruction manual;
4. A set of color photos of the equipment, the photos must clearly show the applicant unit, equipment model, equipment serial number, and the structural size of the equipment;
5. The equipment of the foreign applicant provides a copy of the certification document of the foreign approval status;
6. If the handling unit is an agency applying unit, it shall submit the "Authorization Letter for Approval of Radio Transmission Equipment Model" and a copy of the "Business License of Enterprise Legal Person" of the agency applying unit;
7. The type approval "Test Report" of the equipment within half a year issued by the testing agency recognized by the Radio Regulatory Bureau;
8. The person in charge of the application unit or the agency application unit must hold a copy of the company’s employee identity certificate and personal valid identity certificate presented by the equipment application unit or agency application unit.
(2) The domestic application unit or its entrusted agency application unit shall apply to the radio management agency of the province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government. The radio management agencies of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall complete the preliminary examination within 20 working days from the date of acceptance of the application. If the preliminary review does not agree, the application materials shall be returned to the applicant unit. If the preliminary review agrees, the application materials shall be submitted to the Radio Regulatory Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry.
2. Acceptance, review and decision procedures
(1) The Radio Regulatory Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry shall review the application materials received. If the application materials are incomplete or do not conform to the legal form, the applicant shall be notified on the spot or within 5 working days of the materials that need to be supplemented and corrected. If the application materials are complete and conform to the legal form, or the applicant submits all supplementary materials as required, it shall be accepted and the applicant shall be notified in writing. If the application is not accepted, the applicant shall be notified in writing.
(2) The Radio Regulatory Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry shall make a decision to approve or disapprove the type approval application within 20 working days from the date of acceptance. For those approved, the "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate" shall be issued; for those not approved, the applicant shall be notified in writing and the reasons shall be explained.
